NDDB to offer monetary, technical assist for enhancing earnings of Punjab dairy farmers

The Nationwide Dairy Growth Board will present monetary and technical assist to Punjab Authorities’s endeavour in organising 12 milk vegetation within the state with an estimated outlay of about Rs 900 crore to assist bail out farmers of the state from monetary disaster by supplementing their earnings main to a different ‘white revolution’ within the state, NDBB Chairman Meenesh Shah stated on Thursday.

Throughout a dialogue with Punjab Animal Husbandry, Dairy Growth and Fisheries Minister Kuldip Singh Dhaliwal at Anand immediately, Shah stated the NDDB will organize the required monetary and technical help, based on an official assertion.  

“As there are already 11 milk vegetation, overlaying 6,000 villages within the state, the numbers would rise to 23 and canopy a complete of 12,000 villages. This may assist in procuring extra 10 lakh litres of milk per day

“So as to overcome the issue of air pollution and to offer cheaper feed to the dairy farmers, the Punjab authorities will set up Complete Combined Ration (TMR) plant at Amritsar on the strains of two vegetation efficiently operational in Ganganagar and Kolhapur at an estimated outlay of Rs 80 crore

“The NDDB would offer all vital help. This may additionally assist resolve the issue of burning crop residues. For imparting schooling in dairying on the strains of NDRI, NDDB has assured assist in making ready a proposal for growing the same institute in Punjab,” it added
