PM releases commemorative coin, stamp on four-hundredth Parkash Purb of Guru Tegh Bahadur
New Delhi, April 21
PM Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a commemorative coin and a postage stamp on the Pink Fort on the four-hundredth beginning anniversary of Sikh guru Tegh Bahadur.
As many as 400 ‘ragis’ (Sikh musicians) carried out a ‘Shabad Kirtan’ to mark the auspicious event.
The programme was organised by the ministry in collaboration with the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Administration Committee.
Chief ministers from many states and varied distinguished personalities from throughout the nation and overseas had been a part of the celebrations.
This programme on the four-hundredth Parkash Purab of Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur was organised as a part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.
