
BSF shoots down Pakistani drone in Punjab, 10 kg heroin seized
CHANDIGARH: The Border Safety Drive (BSF) shot down a Pakistani drone near the worldwide border in Punjab’s Amritsar early Monday and recovered 9 yellow packets of contraband.
The burden of the heroin was discovered to be 10 kg with packing materials.
In a tweet, the BSF mentioned, “BSF troops foiled one other smuggling try via Pak drone. Vigilant BSF troops fired on the drone coming from Pak and introduced it down. Drone carrying 9 packets suspected to be heroin (10.670 kg) in a bag had been additionally recovered.”
The troops sounded an alert.
