232 mandis throughout state to stay open, relaxation all to be closed from Could 13: Lal Chand Kataruchak
CHANDIGARH: Following the completion of procurement process, the Meals, Civil Provides and Client Affairs Division has determined to shut all of the mandis throughout the State with impact from Could thirteenth at 5 PM besides 232 mandis.

Divulging extra, the Minister mentioned that of the abovesaid 232 mandis, 18 are in Bathinda, 8 in Moga, 3 in Fazilka, 6 in Mansa, 9 in Ferozepur, 9 in Patiala, 10 in Sangrur, 13 in Barnala, 15 in Ludhiana West and East, 4 in Faridkot, 11 in Gurdaspur, 14 in Jalandhar, 5 in Sri Muktsar Sahib, 5 in Fatehgarh Sahib, 8 in Kapurthala, 4 in Malerkotla, 5 in S.A.S. Nagar, 5 in Ropar, 21 in Tarn Taran, 5 in Pathankot, 6 in Hoshiarpur, 45 in Amritsar and three in S.B.S. Nagar.
The Minister thanked the farmers, arhtiyas, Mandi labour, transporters and authorities officers concerned within the month lengthy train of procurement of wheat within the state.
