Persevering with its tirade in opposition to unlawful occupation of public land, the Rural Improvement Division eliminated encroachments on over 67 acre in Majri block and 115.14 bighe in Hansala village of the district.
Deputy Commissioner Amit Talwar stated over 63 acre shamlat land in Thirthan village and over 4 acre in Dhodemajra was given to the panchayats after eradicating the unlawful occupation. Village and Panchayat Officer Baljinder Singh Grewal, Block Improvement and Panchayat Officer Jaspreet Kaur and Responsibility Justice of the Peace-cum-Kharar Naib Tehsildar Vivek Nirmohi and Majri Responsibility Justice of the Peace Deepak Bhardwaj, in affiliation with Gram Panchayat Suhali, received the encroachments eliminated.
DC Amit Talwar stated a complete of 115.14 bigha shamlat land was free of unlawful occupation within the Dera Bassi block. Its occupants have been utilizing the land for his or her private achieve. He stated Charanjit Kaur, Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat, Hansala, Ramesh Kumar, Block Improvement and Panchayat Officer, Dera Bassi, and different income officers have been current. The reclaimed land was auctioned on the spot, the DC added.
