Man posing as Punjab Speaker tries to dupe 2 officers

A person impersonating Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan allegedly tried to dupe two Vidhan Sabha Secretariat officers, asking them to ship him e-pay reward playing cards.
The accused, who had even put up a DP of Sandhwan, reportedly despatched messages from a distinct quantity to the 2 senior officers, claiming he was at a gathering and couldn’t use his common telephone.
He demanded e-pay reward playing cards inside an hour. Whereas one of many officers received suspicious and sought to talk to him over the telephone, the opposite agreed to the demand. Nonetheless, the urgency with which the accused sought the reward playing cards raised his suspicious as effectively.
He then referred to as up the Speaker on his common quantity, who expressed shock on the improvement. Sources say the matter has been taken up with police brass and a grievance could be made on Friday.
