Struggle over sharing of alms claims begger’s life in Amritsar

A beggar allegedly killed one other beggar over a minor dispute over sharing of cash close to Sakatari Bagh on Wednesday night. The deceased was recognized as Manu, a resident of Jalandhar. He was stabbed to demise by Jai Kamle of Nasik, Maharashtra. He was later arrested by the police.
Shankar Dass, the complainant and eyewitness to the incident, instructed the police that he got here to Sakatarri Bagh close to Chattiwind Chowk at a tea stall. He stated at 3.20pm, two individuals began quarrelling with one another. He stated the accused attacked Manu with some sharp weapon on the left aspect of his neck, as a consequence of which he began bleeding profusely and died. The police recovered the sharp weapon from him and registered a case beneath Part 302 of the IPC in opposition to Jai Kamle.
