
6-year-old boy falls into borewell in Punjab
CHANDIGARH: A six-year-old boy of a migrant labourer household fell right into a 100-foot-deep deserted borewell on Sunday in Punjab’s Hoshiarpur district, police mentioned.
A rescue operation, comprising groups of the district administration, is below approach, an official advised IANS.
The boy climbed a borewell shaft when stray canines have been chasing him. The shaft, lined with a jute bag, collapsed and the boy fell into the properly.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann mentioned the rescue operation was underway and he was in contact with the district administration.
“A 6-year-old boy Hrithik fell right into a borewell in Hoshiarpur. District administration and native MLA have been there and rescue operation is underway. I’m in fixed contact with the administration,” Mann mentioned in a tweet.
