
AAP’s Patiala Rural MLA Dr Balbir Singh convicted in felony case; will get 3-year jail time period

Punjab’s ruling Aam Aadmi Social gathering’s Patiala (Rural) MLA Dr Balbir Singh has been convicted in a felony case.
Further chief judicial Justice of the Peace Ravi Inder Singh introduced three-year rigorous imprisonment for the accused together with three others. He was, nonetheless, granted bail on the spot.
A case was registered in opposition to Dr Balbir Singh on June 13, 2011 on the criticism of his spouse’s sister Rupinderjit Kaur and her husband Mewa Singh. They’d alleged that Dr Balbir Singh together with different accused, together with Rahul and Parminder Singh, attacked them after they had been in Tapparian Dial Singh, close to Chamkaur Sahib, to irrigate their fields.
