The Punjab Public Service Fee’s (PPSC) conduct of examination for 78 posts of naib tehsildar on Sunday has come underneath hearth after it did not difficulty the query paper in Punjabi. Candidates claimed it was in violation of the Punjab Languages Act, 1967, and Punjab Languages (Modification) Act, 2008.

Graduates, not older than 37 years previous, from a recognised college or establishment and people having cleared Punjabi on the matric degree are eligible for the submit. “Punjabi is the state’s official language and it’s used for its official works. Furthermore, most work on the submit of naib tehsildar can be executed in Punjabi.
