BANGA (Nawanshahr): Urging the peasantry that it’s now excessive time to avoid wasting groundwater by adopting direct seeding of the rice (DSR), Banga Sub-Divisional Justice of the Peace (SDM) Navneet Kaur Bal on Tuesday exhorted the farmers change to DSR as an alternative of conventional transplantation of paddy.
SDM Banga Navneet Kaur Bal together with the officers of Agriculture Division visited Kangraur village the place a farmer Darbara Singh used DSR approach on his 12-acre land.
