Punjab witnesses 30% enhance in registration and stamps income; generates Rs 353 crore in April

Punjab Income, Rehabilitation and Catastrophe Administration Division registered a rise of 30.45 per cent in income from registration and stamps in April as in comparison with the corresponding interval final 12 months.
Income Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa stated the division had collected over Rs 352.62 crore from registration and stamps from April 1 to 30, a rise from Rs 270.31 crore recorded in the identical interval the earlier 12 months.
The minister stated the expansion within the income can be utilised for holistic growth of the state.
He added that a number of social welfare schemes had been on the playing cards.
He stated there was no house for corruption or another malpractice in authorities places of work and hassle-free providers had been being supplied to the individuals.
