Navjot Singh Sidhu to do clerical job at Patiala Central Jail for five hours day by day

Cricketer-turned politician and former PCC chief Navjot Singh Sidhu has been appointed ‘assistant’ (munshi) to do clerical work at Patiala Central Jail. As a result of safety causes, Sidhu will probably be working from his cell solely.
Sidhu began working from Tuesday, knowledgeable the jail officers. It has been learnt that Sidhu would do job in two shifts—9 am to 12 pm and three pm to five pm.
Notably, Sidhu has been lodged within the Patiala Central Jail in a 34-year-old street rage case (one yr rigorous imprisonment).
As per the jail norms, Sidhu can be educated for 3 months with out pay. Thereafter, he can be categorised as unskilled, semi-skilled or expert prisoner and his incomes would vary from wherever between Rs 30 and Rs 90. The earnings can be credited to his account. In the meantime, the medical board had authorised a weight loss program plan for Sidhu on Tuesday.
