Case in opposition to man who fired at cops 2 weeks in the past

Baljit Singh, a resident of Mehmood Ke-Hathar (Ferozepur), who was declared a proclaimed offender by the Ferozepur district police in a homicide case, managed to flee from the spot after firing on the Harike police, two weeks in the past.
DSP, Patti, Maninderpal Singh on Sunday mentioned the Harike police occasion led by Sub Inspector Harjit Singh left for patrolling within the space on Could 12, when somebody fired on the police occasion within the outskirts of Harike. The accused managed to flee from the spot forsaking his bike.
The DSP mentioned the accused couldn’t be recognized and the police recovered one registration certificates (RC) from the bike and 20-gm heroin from it. The RC was within the title of Baljit Singh, which helped the police to determine the accused.
The DSP mentioned after verifying the paperwork, the accused liable for firing on the police occasion was recognised as Baljit Singh, who has been booked below Part 307 of the IPC and Sections 25, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act and Sections 21, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act on Saturday (Could 28).
The DSP mentioned the police had been conducting raids on the attainable hideouts of the accused to arrest him.
