Sangrur Lok Sabha by-poll: Paid vacation for voters on June 23
Chandigarh, June 20
To allow the staff, who’re voters of Sangrur parliamentary constituency, to solid their vote on June 23 (Thursday), the Punjab authorities has declared it as a paid vacation within the stated space.
An official spokesperson of the Punjab Authorities stated this vacation might be availed by those that are working in factories, outlets and business institutions located within the state of Punjab.
The Lok Sabha seat fell vacant after Bhagwant Mann, presently chief minister, contested and received from Dhuri meeting phase within the 2022 meeting election.
There are 16 candidates, together with 13 male and three ladies, within the fray. Voting will happen from 8 am to six pm and the counting of votes can be held on June 26.
