‘Move decision on Panjab College situation in upcoming Meeting session’

Members of an area social organisation demanded from CM Bhagwant Mann to cross a decision within the upcoming Meeting session towards the Centre’s transfer to take management of Panjab College, Chandigarh.
Tarksheel Society, in its assembly, demanded a decision towards the Nationwide Schooling Coverage-2020. Society members Jaspal Basarke, Sumit Singh and Ashwani Kumar stated the Centre was pursing its fascist and capitalistic agenda and attempting for centralisation of powers.
The society additionally introduced that it will assist all protests towards the Centre’s transfer to take management of PU. The members of the society reasoned that granting Central College standing to PU would jeopardise the way forward for college students of about 200 affiliated faculties of Punjab. They stated the Centre’s step was towards the pursuits of Punjab.
