forty fourth Chess Olympiad torch reaches Attari
Amritsar: The inaugural chess torch relay of the forty fourth Chess Olympiad, which is being held in India for the primary time with the participation of chess gamers from 190 nations, reached Attari border on Thursday. Within the palms of Grand Grasp Deep Sen Gupta, it was welcomed by the officers of Punjab Authorities, District Administration, Nationwide Institute of Sports activities, gamers, college students, volunteers of Nehru Yuva Kendra and Punjab State Chess Affiliation. College students of Khalsa Faculty carried out bhangra on the event. The DC returned the torch to Grand Grasp Deep Sen Gupta and it left for Kurukshetra.
