Man ‘kills’ 13-year-old son in a match of rage

In a tragic incident, an individual killed his minor son along with his licensed weapon at Ghuddu Wala village in Makhu.
Kehar Singh had three acres and out of this, he had given half of the land to his son Paramjeet Singh. Nonetheless, Paramjeet allegedly used to pressurise his father to switch the land in his identify.
“My son was working as a safety guard in Ludhiana and was getting a very good wage,” stated Kehar and added that his son used to allegedly beat him to pressurise him to switch the land. “I even agreed to switch the land within the identify of my grandson Mehakpreet, however Paramjeet didn’t take heed to me,” he added.
As per the knowledge, Paramjeet had come house two days in the past. In the present day, each Kehar and Paramjeet had heated arguments, following which Paramjeet took his gun and allegedly shot at his father.
In the meantime, Mehakpreet (13) tried to intervene and pacify his father, however in a match of rage, Paramjeet fired at his son along with his .12 bore double barrel gun. Mehakpreet died on the spot.
After the incident, Paramjeet tried to flee from the spot, however he was nabbed by the villagers. Zira DSP Sandeep Singh Mand stated, “The accused has been arrested by the police and an FIR will probably be registered quickly.”
