Govt’s GOG comment humiliating: Colonel AS Gill
Tarn Taran, September 13
Criticising the state authorities for terming Guardians of Governance (GOG) as “poor” performers, the district unit of the now scrapped scheme has stated it can wage a authorized or an organisational battle towards the federal government.
Colonel AS Gill, head of the now defunct GOG’s district unit, on Tuesday stated the allegations of “poor efficiency, GOGs not working for the previous one 12 months”, and many others., have been a pack of lies in addition to assassinating the dignity, sincerity, honesty and the respect which ex-servicemen maintain. He stated the unit may transfer the courtroom or lodge organisational protest by burning effigies of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on the tehsil complexes in a peaceable method.
“If the federal government was desirous to abolish the scheme, as a substitute of constructing derogatory remarks, it may have merely stated that the scheme was no extra required. We had been spending cash from our pockets to carry out our duties,” he stated.
