Amritsar: Over three months after a lady accused a Mumbai resident for allegedly raping her, the police have arrested the suspect, recognized as Sanjay Sudama Manne, a resident of Vasant Advanced in Khandvali, West Mumbai. The sufferer had alleged that he raped her on pretext of marriage. Maharashtra police had registered a zero FIR within the case which was forwarded to Amritsar metropolis police. The sufferer stated Sanjay Maane lured her with a wedding supply and established bodily relations, however refused later. TNS

12 booked for conflict in jail

Kapurthala: As many as 12 inmates had been booked after a conflict came about between two teams in Kapurthala jail on Tuesday. The conflict came about over a minor subject and the 2 teams used sharp weapons, manufactured from iron sheets, to assault each other.
