Goal of 55K phrases of engineering terminology in Punjabi achieved

Dr Ravinder Kumar, deputy coordinator of a five-day workshop for creating glossary for technical terminology at Guru Nanak Dev College (GNDU), stated within the third spherical of workshop, over 10,000 technical phrases of engineering terminology had been created in Punjabi language.
“With the conclusion of the workshop, the goal to create 55,000 technical phrases of engineering terminology in Punjabi has been achieved efficiently,” he stated on the culminating day.
A collection of workshops have been organised within the Faculty of Punjabi Research of GNDU in collaboration with the Fee for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT), Training Ministry, Authorities of India.
Dean Pupil Welfare Prof Anish Dua, in context of the NEP-2020, highlighted the function of regional languages within the proliferation of science and know-how. The coordinator for the workshop and head of Punjabi division Dr Manjinder Singh knowledgeable that the topic consultants and linguists from GNDU, Amritsar, Central College Bathinda, Punjabi College, Patiala and NIT, Jalandhar participated within the workshop to fulfil the target of making a technical glossary in Punjabi to be able to widen the scope of language.
