Punjab Police registers FIR on grievance of horse buying and selling of AAP MLAs by BJP


CHANDIGARH: Following the grievance filed by some MLAs of the state, Punjab Police on Wednesday registered a primary data report (FIR) underneath part 8 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and Sections 171-B and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) on the Police Station State Crime, SAS Nagar.

Official Spokesperson of Punjab Police stated that the Police have registered an FIR primarily based on prima facie foundation and investigation has been transferred to the Vigilance Bureau as per normal tips.

Harpal Singh Cheema Finance Minister Punjab has alleged that atleast 35 MLAs have acquired cellphone calls from BJP leaders to lure and threaten the MLAs to pressurise them to affix BJP. He alleged that BJP has launched Operation Lotus to derail elected authorities in punjab. Cheema alleged that AAP MLAs have been provided Rs,25 crore every to type a separate group.

Finance Minister reported to have handed over audio recordings of BJP leaders to Punjab Police to probe the case. BJP leaders has been denying that they’ve made calls to AAP MLAs. BJP has additionally demanded CBI probe into this case.

Earlier the AAP authorities in Delhi has alleged that BJP has provided Rs,20 crore to their MLAs for becoming a member of BJP.
