DCP, son summoned in attempt-to-murder case

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Naresh Dogra is in for hassle as a Hoshiarpur courtroom has summoned him and his son to face trial in a three-year-old resort brawl case. Each are going through attempt-to-murder prices and have been summoned on November 15.
In an order handed by the courtroom of Further Chief Judicial Justice of the Peace, Hoshiarpur, Rupinder Singh, DCP Dogra, his son Shivi Dogra, retired tehsildar Manjit Singh, his son Harnam Singh and one other confederate Vivek Kaushal of Resort Royal Plaza, Chintpurni Street, Hoshiarpur, have been summoned beneath Sections 307, 506, 341, 447, 323, 148 and 149 of the IPC and Sections 25, 27, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act. Whereas the orders had been handed on September 13, these had been uploaded on Saturday.
The courtroom orders state that every one accused, with a standard intention, inflicted accidents on Vishwa Nath Bunty, companion of co-accused Vivek Kaushal, within the resort, and Ajay Rana, a resort worker. “Prima facie, a case is made out towards all accused,” reads the 17-page courtroom order. The grievance has been lodged by Nawab Hussain, who too serves in the identical resort.
Companions Bunty and Kaushal had been in dispute with one other individual over the day-to-day functioning of the resort. Jalandhar DCP Dogra was reportedly serving to the latter. On the evening of January 3, 2019, a brawl befell within the resort.
