SGPC panel to look into Faridkot gurdwara conflict

On the instructions of Akal Takht, the SGPC’s investigating panel will depart for Faridkot tomorrow to probe a conflict between two teams on the gurdwara premises over the management of the shrine’s administration committee.
A number of devotees have been injured within the conflict, the video of which has been doing the rounds on social media. The 2 rival teams may be seen within the video brandishing swords contained in the sanctum sanctorum.

“The panel, comprising head preacher Sarbjit Singh Dhotian, Dhilwan gurdwara supervisor Harpreet Singh, two preachers and an SGPC member from Faridkot, has been requested to submit the report tomorrow itself,” stated SGPC secretary Paramjit Singh Saroa.
