Amritsar: ANM dies, husband, three aides booked

Following the demise of an Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) below mysterious circumstances in Saidpur Kalan village three days in the past, the police have booked her husband and three others on the cost of culpable murder not amounting to homicide.

The sufferer was recognized as Amarjit Kaur. Although no arrest has been made thus far, they had been booked after a video of the sufferer surfaced. In a video message, she accused her husband Satnam Singh, his lover Ravinder Kaur and two others for killing her by allegedly giving her toxic tablets.

The police stated raids had been on to nab the suspects and a case below Sections 304 and 34 of the IPC had been registered.

The deceased’s brother, Sarvan Singh, in his criticism to the police, stated his sister was married to prime accused Satnam Singh round 11 years in the past. He stated she was an ANM and was operating a clinic in Ballarwal village. He stated Ravinder Kaur used to work in her clinic and allegedly developed a relationship with Satnam and married her. He stated as a consequence of this, he was harassing and bodily assaulting her.

The complainant stated his sister moved to their home in Saidpur Kalan village and fell unwell 5 days in the past. She died on Friday. He stated after they checked her cell phone, they discovered a video of her wherein she alleged that Satnam Singh, Ravinder Kaur, Bau Singh and Hardeep Singh gave her toxic medicines as a consequence of which her kidneys had been broken.

Investigating officer ASI Kuldeep Singh stated investigations had been on and details had been being verified. He stated the physique was handed over to the household after post-mortem. The reason for demise could be ascertained after the autopsy examination report is acquired.
