Cops canecharge lecturers close to Meet Hayer’s Barnala home

The police allegedly canecharged protesting members of the 1158 Assistant Professor and Librarian Entrance, Punjab, after they broke the second barricade put up close to the residence of Cupboard Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer. The protesters alleged cops abused ladies.
“The Excessive Courtroom had quashed our choice in August. Since then, we have now been attempting to satisfy the CM to persuade him to problem the quashing, however nobody is paying heed to our demand. At present, the police hit us with sticks,” stated Karamjit Singh, convener of the entrance.
The protesters initially remained peaceable, however after they did not safe a gathering with the CM, they began the protest march in direction of Meet Hayer’s residence.
“After we broke the second barricade, the police began hitting us with sticks. They didn’t even spare bodily challenged protesters. We had come to rearrange a gathering and to not conflict with them,” stated a girl protester.
Barnala DSP Satvir Singh denied the allegations that the protesters have been lathicharged. “We have been finalising the assembly time when the protesters broke the second barricade. Our groups solely prevented them from continuing in direction of the minister’s residence and didn’t use sticks,” he stated.
