Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s confederate held in Faridkot

The police toady claimed to have arrested a gangster, Chamkaur Singh, of Sewewala village in Faridkot. Believed to be an confederate of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and homicide convict, Chamkaur was at giant for over a 12 months since leaping parole granted to him in June 2021.
The police consider the arrest of Chamkaur will finish a sequence of vengeful killings in two households of Sewewala. He was awarded life sentence in a homicide case. After spending seven years in jail, he was launched on parole for six weeks in June 2021. As he didn’t return to the jail, a legal case beneath Part 9 of the Good Conduct Prisoners (Non permanent Launch) Act was registered in opposition to him.
Chamkaur had killed a rival gangster, Ranjit Singh, a resident of Sewewala, within the orthopaedic ward of Guru Gobind Singh Medical Faculty and Hospital on April 9, 2013. Ranjit was going through 12 instances on the time of his homicide and he was identified for his proximity to a senior Akali chief of the realm.
Ranjit was killed a day after his group members allegedly beat up six relations of Chamkaur in full public view on the Jaito grain market. Chamkaur was arrested on the spot. To avenge the homicide of Ranjit, his brother Gurbax Singh and his supporters had allegedly killed Chamkaur’s brother Sukhpal Singh and nephew Maninder Singh after they had been returning residence from their fields on March 30, 2014.
Gurbax and his confederate Sharni are in judicial custody. Sources mentioned Gurbax had the help of the Davinder Bambhia gang.
With a motive of killing Gurbax and Sharni, Chamkaur jumped the parole and established contacts with the Lawerence Bishnoi gang.
