Farmers block trains for 3 hrs, search reduction for pest-infested cotton crop

Farmers below the banner of Bharti Kisan Union (Ekta Ugrahan) staged a dharna on the rail tracks on the Patti railway station and blocked trains for 3 hours from 12 midday to three pm right here on Thursday. They had been demanding the fulfilment of present calls for of farmers. The practice providers remained affected because of the dharna within the district.
Whereas addressing on the event, Gurbaj Singh, district president of the union, condemned the insurance policies of the Centre and the state authorities, which had failed to guard the pursuits of the farming neighborhood.
He mentioned the AAP authorities was in no temper to offer compensation to the farmers whose cotton crops had been ruined after the Gulabi Sundi assault and resulting from duplicate pesticides.
