To clear legacy waste from all landfill websites, the Muktsar Municipal Council is ready to purchase a waste disposal machine by spending almost Rs 1.5 crore. If all goes in keeping with the plan, the machine can be purchased subsequent month.

Rajnish Girdhar, Govt Officer (EO), Muktsar Municipal Council, stated, “We’re buying a legacy waste disposal machine to clear the landfill websites. It is going to be put in at a virtually 2.5-acre plot on Kabarwala Highway. It should assist native residents do away with the issue of rubbish heaps.”

He stated, “We’ve the cash and the machine will likely be bought after Diwali. This machine will separate varied parts of legacy waste similar to plastic, paper, fabric, sand and bricks.”

Girdhar stated the council had final month collected property tax value about Rs 92 lakh. Locals stated the council had bought a vacuum sweeper machine three years in the past by spending almost Rs 25 lakh. It was hardly used anyplace, they alleged.
