A day after state residents made an fervent enchantment to Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to assist practically 100 Punjabi staff stranded in Abu Dhabi with out passports, the Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA) has acted swiftly and initiated motion.

Jaishankar has directed the Indian consulate in Dubai to increase all potential assist to the employees stranded within the UAE, and requested the officers involved to make preparations to get them again to India.

Passports of those staff are reportedly with Sq. Common Contracting Co, Abu Dhabi, a personal firm, which has eliminated staff, however their passports should not being returned.
