Centre acts to assist Punjabis stranded in UAE

A day after state residents made an fervent attraction to Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to assist practically 100 Punjabi employees stranded in Abu Dhabi with out passports, the Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA) has acted swiftly and initiated motion.
Jaishankar has directed the Indian consulate in Dubai to increase all attainable assist to the employees stranded within the UAE, and requested the officers involved to make preparations to get them again to India.
Passports of those employees are reportedly with Sq. Normal Contracting Co, Abu Dhabi, a personal firm, which has eliminated employees, however their passports are usually not being returned.
