As many as 90,248 useless individuals are being given social safety pension in Punjab. This has come to gentle throughout a survey carried out by the federal government to establish faux and ineligible beneficiaries.

She mentioned a survey of 30.46 lakh beneficiaries had been carried out. With the identification of 90,248 deceased beneficiaries, the monetary loss to the federal government would now be stopped, she mentioned, including that the quantity saved can be spent to assist different needy individuals.
The Cupboard minister mentioned the digital profit switch scheme can be applied to pay pension to the beneficiaries now. The pension might be disbursed by enterprise correspondents deployed by banks. To implement the scheme, first two pilot tasks can be began quickly in Sangrur and Muktsar districts, she mentioned.
