The Union Authorities has requested the state authorities for an in depth clarification of labor achieved by it on vital points, through which the state had sought Centre’s assist. These points embrace gangsters working from jails within the state, proliferation and use of unlawful firearms and communal disturbances, amongst others.
In a letter despatched to the state Chief Secretary, the Inter-state Council Secretariat of the Union Ministry of Residence Affairs has sought a proof from the state authorities for not offering any particulars on the efforts made by it on 9 points, together with the above talked about, whereas nonetheless asking the Centre to incorporate these points within the Northern Zone Council assembly scheduled for December 17.
