12 pretend Scheduled Caste certificates cancelled in Patiala

The Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Division in Punjab has issued an order cancelling the pretend Schedule Caste certificates of 12 individuals of Alampur village in Patiala district.

Divulging particulars, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Minister Dr Baljit Kaur stated that on March 19, 2020, Udham Singh and Balvir Singh of Alampur village submitted a criticism towards 15 individuals, who had made pretend Scheduled caste certificates.

Dr Baljit Kaur stated to confirm the authenticity of the social standing certificates, there’s a state-level scrutiny committee. This committee gave a number of alternatives for listening to to the individuals involved and ordered them to submit copies of their caste certificates for verification. After this, caste certificates had been offered by 3 of the 15 individuals.

Cupboard Minister stated in keeping with the report of Tehsildar Patiala, Scheduled Caste certificates weren’t submitted by 12 individuals. She stated the committee, whereas inspecting the data, discovered that 12 individuals belonging to Alampur village had made pretend Scheduled Caste certificates, whereas they belonged to the Rajput caste. They’ve been recognized as Kasmir Singh, son of Inder Singh, Amandeep Singh, son of Bhag Singh, Vicky, son of Bhag Singh, Manjit Kaur, spouse of Bhag Singh, Angrej Singh, son of Kashmir Singh, Kulwant Kaur, spouse of Baljit Singh, Jaswant Singh, son of Swaran Singh, Swaran Singh, son of Pala Singh, Gurpreet Singh, son of Swaran Singh, Balvir Kaur, spouse of Swaran Singh, Davinder Singh, son of Sewa Singh and Narinder Singh, son of Sewa Singh.

The committee has ordered to cancel the Scheduled Caste certificates and confiscate the wrongly made paperwork.
