Former Ropar MLA Sandoa’s kin booked for pointing gun at son of minority panel chief Lalpura

Two youth, together with the nephew of former Ropar MLA Amarjeet Singh Sandoa, allegedly chased the automotive of Nationwide Fee for Minorities chairman Iqbal Singh Lalpura’s son Ajayvir Singh Lalpura and pointed a gun in the direction of him late night time right here yesterday.

Following a grievance on this regard, the police booked Sandoa’s kin Jaspreet Singh, and his confederate Jaskaran Singh, each residents of Takhatgarh village.

Surinderpal Singh, who lodged a grievance with police alleged that he together with Ajayvir was going in the direction of Kalwan space round 11.30 pm, when a Swift automotive stopped in entrance of them blocking the street close to Azampur byepass. Following this, two youth acquired down from the automotive and certainly one of them pointed a gun in the direction of him and Ajayvir. Surinderpal mentioned when he knowledgeable the police, each the accused fled the spot.  

Jaspreet’s father Channan Singh, when contacted, confirmed that he was a relative of former MLA Sandoa. He mentioned the incident was not resulting from any political rivalry. Channan Singh mentioned he was not conscious of all of the info as he did not meet his son since yesterday night.

Nurpur Bedi SHO Bhupinder Singh mentioned a case underneath Sections 341, 283, 506, 34 of IPC and Arms Act has been registered in opposition to the accused and police groups have been dispatched to arrest them.
