Piercing chilly swept Punjab and Haryana on Wednesday with minimal temperatures hovering under regular at many locations.
Many locations in each states remained shrouded in a dense layer of fog within the morning, decreasing visibility.
The 2 states have been within the grip of intense chilly for the previous a number of days.
In accordance with the Meteorological Division, Gurdaspur was the coldest place in Punjab recording a minimal temperature of two.5 levels Celsius.
Bathinda recorded a low of 4.6 levels Celsius, Ludhiana 5.8 levels, Patiala 6 levels, and Mohali 6.8 levels Celsius whereas Amritsar reeled at 5.9 levels Celsius.
In Haryana, Narnaul recorded a minimal temperature of three.8 levels Celsius.
Hisar recorded a low of 5.9 levels Celsius, Bhiwani 6.7 levels Celsius, Karnal 6.3 levels Celsius, Rohtak 6.6 levels Celsius, and Sirsa 5.8 levels Celsius whereas Ambala’s minimal settled at 6.3 levels Celsius.
Chandigarh recorded a low of 6.2 levels Celsius.
