Samples collected in Zira amid objections
Ferozepur, January 5
Amid objections by members of the general public motion committee (PAC) and the Sanjha Morcha, the Water Contamination Committee immediately began gathering water and soil samples from the ethanol plant at Mansurwala village and the encompassing areas.
The group collected 12 samples of water and soil from contained in the plant and different villages, together with Mansurwala, Ratol Rohi and Saner.
ADC (G) Sagar Setia mentioned the samples could be despatched to Shri Ram Laboratory in Patiala for evaluation.
A lot of the committees constituted by the state authorities to look into the allegations levelled by the protesters towards the plant have accomplished their spade work.
