Congress chief Rahul Gandhi paid obeisance at Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib on Wednesday morning earlier than starting the Punjab leg of the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
He sported a turban and wore a half-sleeved T-shirt to the place of worship.
Gandhi was accompanied by Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and different social gathering leaders.
Gandhi had on Tuesday provided prayers on the Golden Temple in Amritsar after concluding the Haryana leg of the march in Ambala district.
He reached Sirhind in Fatehgarh Sahib on Tuesday night and stayed for the evening there.
Braving the tough winters, numerous social gathering employees had gathered right here for the yatra.
In line with the schedule of the Punjab leg of the yatra, it would begin from Sirhind in Fatehgarh Sahib and cross via Mandi Gobindgarh, Khanna, Sahnewal, Ludhiana, Goraya, Phagwara, Jalandhar, Dasyua and Mukerian.
A rally shall be held at Pathankot on January 19 earlier than the yatra enters Jammu and Kashmir.
