Mild rain good for crops: Farmers

Chilly wave with dense fog within the district disturbed regular life within the district. A lightweight rain within the night added to the climate vagaries although it was deemed helpful for inexperienced fodder crops and wheat. The solar remained invisible the entire day with climate circumstances forcing the autos to maneuver slowly on the roads.
Bau, a vegetable vendor, stated the arrival of veggies had been affected with labourers shying away from work within the chilly. Tejinderpal Singh Rasulpur, a farmer, stated the sunshine rain was helpful for the wheat crop and there was a risk that the climate would clear the following day. The provision of inexperienced fodder was affected within the city right now. Chief Agriculture Officer Surinder Singh stated the rain had been welcomed within the space and it was hoped that it could assist enhance the yield of winter crops.
