Shock checks on ETOs
Chandigarh, January 11
Finance, Excise and Taxation Minister Harpal Singh Cheema on Wednesday carried out a shock checking of attendance of excise and taxation officers (ETOs) and inspectors posted at numerous distilleries and bottling vegetation by way of the real-time based mostly e-surveillance system.
Cheema, who had gone to Excise and Taxation Bhawan to launch official jacket for enforcement officers, carried out checking on the management room through CCTV system.
