
3 booked for promoting Chinese language dor

The Rural Police have booked three individuals for allegedly storing and promoting the banned artificial kite string. These booked had been recognized as Ranjiv Kumar, his father Ramesh Kumar and Akash, all residents of Fatehgarh Churian right here.
Investigating officer Takwinder Singh mentioned a police crew was current at Chowk Talwandi Nahar when it bought a tip-off that Ranjiv and his father Ramesh had been concerned in promoting Chinese language kite string on a big scale from a closed manufacturing unit on Ajnala Highway.
Following this, the police raided the manufacturing unit and recovered 336 Chinese language rolls (gattu) from the spot although no accused was arrested within the case thus far. The police have registered a case.
ASI Takwinder Singh, investigating officer within the case, mentioned additional probe was on and raids had been being performed to nab the suspects.
In the meantime, the town police have arrested Rohit Kumar of Dhupsadi space in Verka for allegedly promoting acrylic kite string. The police recovered 4 rolls from his possession. A case has been filed.
