Amritsar: The Anti-Gangster Activity Power workforce has arrested Rajbir Singh, alias Babbu, of Mehlawala village and confiscated 75-gm heroin from his possession. A case below the NDPS Act was registered and he was introduced on police remand for additional investigation to establish supply of the contraband. tns
Purse snatched from girl
Amritsar: The Sultanwind police have booked a youth, recognized as Sonu of Baba Budha Avenue for allegedly snatching purse from a neighborhood resident, recognized as Mandeep Kaur. She informed the police that she was returning house on e-rickshaw and reached close to Tara Wala bridge when the accused got here from behind on a motorbike and snatched her purse. It contained Rs 500 and different paperwork. The police have registered a case.
