PCS officers to work on weekend

Two days after resuming work, the Punjab Civil Companies (PCS) Officers’ Affiliation as we speak determined to work on Saturday and Sunday as effectively to clear the backlog.

A call to this impact was taken at a gathering of the affiliation held as we speak.

Vikas Hira, spokesperson, PCS Officers’ Affiliation, mentioned they expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for resolving the problems raised by them.

“As the federal government has agreed to all of the calls for and maintaining in view the inconvenience brought on to public, the affiliation has resolved that every one its members will work on Saturday and Sunday to clear the backlog,” Hira mentioned.

The PCS officers had gone on a strike after the Ludhiana RTA was arrested by the Vigilance Bureau on prices of alleged corruption.
