Bharat Jodo Yatra resumes from Punjab’s Adampur

The Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra resumed from Adampur right here in Punjab on Monday, with scores of individuals marching together with Rahul Gandhi regardless of biting chilly.

The march began from the Kala Bakra space and a number of other Congress leaders, together with state social gathering chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, had been seen accompanying Gandhi.

The march, which began from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7, will conclude in Srinagar on January 30, with Gandhi hoisting the nationwide flag there.

On Saturday, the march was suspended for twenty-four hours in view of Congress MP Santokh Singh Chaudhary’s loss of life. The MP had suffered a cardiac arrest through the yatra. He was cremated at his native Dhaliwal village in Jalandhar on Sunday.

The march had resumed on Sunday afternoon in Jalandhar and singer Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh had joined it.

Gandhi in a tweet had mentioned that he noticed wonderful braveness and endurance in Moosewala’s father.

The Punjab leg of the march started on Wednesday from Sirhind in Fatehgarh Sahib.
