
6 arrested for promoting Chinese language string in 3 days

After studies of mishaps because of Chinese language kite strings from throughout the state, the Muktsar police have cracked the whip on these promoting the damaging string.
Prior to now three days, six folks have been arrested for allegedly promoting the banned kite string in 5 circumstances registered at numerous police stations. The Gidderbaha police on Friday arrested a father-son duo — Rakesh Monga and Abhishek Monga — for allegedly promoting the glass-coated string.
The Kabarwala police arrested Kulwinder Singh of Shamkhera village for allegedly promoting the banned kite string. The Lambi police arrested Kuki Singla and Manish Kumar, each of Killianwali.
On Sunday, the Malout Metropolis police arrested Sandeep Kumar.
An SP-rank officer stated, “We have now seized Chinese language kite string. This string is banned by the District Justice of the Peace. Anybody discovered promoting it is going to be booked below Part 188 of the IPC.”
