Three loot medical retailer proprietor of Rs 40K

Three unidentified miscreants robbed a medical retailer proprietor of Rs 40,000, a licensed revolver and 12 reside cartridges at gunpoint at Dhilwan village in Kotkapura subdivision late on Sunday night.

Malkit Singh, the proprietor of the medical retailer, mentioned the miscreants had come to the store on the pretext of shopping for medicines. They used a firearm and a few sharp weapons to threaten Malkit Singh and his son Gurman Singh. The miscreants looted the cash and the licensed weapon and fled. The police have procured the CCTV footage of the incident. After registering a felony case, the police have rounded up some suspects from adjoining villages, mentioned sources. The police are attempting to establish the miscreants with the assistance of the CCTV footage.

That is the third incident of crime in Faridkot previously three days. Two days in the past, a youth was overwhelmed to dying in a combat between two teams within the Balbir Basti space. In one other case, a police crew was attacked with stones and sharp weapons when it needed to rescue of a minor lady within the Sanjay Nagar space. The minor lady had known as up the police on the helpline, complaining that she was being harassed by some youths within the locality. When apolice crew went to rescue lady, it was pelted with stones and attacked with sharp weapons, leaving an ASI significantly injured.
