200 stolen telephones returned to homeowners

The Ferozepur police right now handed over greater than 2 hundred cellphones, which have been both misplaced or stolen, to their homeowners.

SSP Kanwardeep Kaur mentioned that appearing upon the complaints acquired by the individuals who had both misplaced their mobiles or had them stolen, the police had recovered round 216 cellphones which have been right now handed over again to their homeowners.

In the meantime, six cellphones have been recovered from the Central Jail in Ferozepur. Reporedly, through the checking of block 1 of ward 1, a cell was seized from an undertrial, Sukhwinder Singh, whereas two cellphones have been seized from one other undertrial, Surinder Singh. In one other case, the police booked an undertrial, Sandeep Singh, and his sister Sunita Rani of Jalalabad for allegedly offering intoxicating powder to Sandeep throughout their assembly. Each of them have been booked beneath the Prisons Act and Sections 22, 61, 85 of the NDPS Act.
