Mercury settles above regular in elements of Punjab, Haryana

Minimal temperatures settled just a few notches above regular at many locations in Punjab and Haryana on Tuesday.
In Punjab, Ludhiana recorded a low of 11.3 levels Celsius, 4 levels above regular, in keeping with a meteorological division report.
At 8.1 levels Celsius, the mercury settled three notches above regular in Amritsar.
Patiala recorded a low of 9.9 levels Celsius, Pathankot 8.9 levels Celsius, Bathinda 8 levels Celsius, Faridkot 8.6 levels Celsius and Gurdaspur 7.5 levels Celsius.
Chandigarh, the joint capital of Punjab and Haryana, recorded a low of 10.1 levels Celsius, three levels above regular.
In Haryana, Ambala recorded a minimal temperature of 12.2 levels Celsius, 4 levels above regular.
The mercury settled at a low of 10.7 levels Celsius, two notches above regular, in Hisar.
Karnal recorded a minimal temperature of 9.2 levels Celsius, Narnaul 14 levels Celsius, Rohtak 12.6 levels Celsius and Bhiwani 11.3 levels Celsius and Sirsa 9.6 levels Celsius.
