Clashes breaks out between Chandigarh police and protesters demanding launch of ‘Bandi Singhs’ at Mohali-Chandigarh border

Chandigarh, February 8

A high-voltage conflict broke out on Wednesday between Chandigarh Police and protesters in search of launch of ‘Bandi Singhs’ at Chandigarh-Mohali border. Protesters have been transferring in direction of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s home and police had to make use of water cannons to cease them.

A number of chowks throughout Mohali have been blocked by protesting farmers. A number of automobiles have been vandalised too.

Protesters, which embody spiritual leaders, farmer teams, have been seen making offended speeches from the stage on the protest website.

A number of automobiles of cops have been vandalised in violent protest.

Lots of of protesters are staging an agitation at Mohali-Chandigarh border since January 7 demanding launch of Bandi Singhs.
