GNDU college students take out march for ‘Bandi Singhs’

College students’ organisation Sath organised a march for the discharge of Sikh political prisoners within the Guru Nanak Dev College campus.
The march began from Gurdwara Sahib of the college and ended on the predominant gate of the campus. Plenty of college students walked holding placards with images of Sikh political prisoners together with particulars of their respective imprisonment tenure. Whereas supporting the initiative of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), college students wrote over 2,000 purposes to the President of India.
Whereas addressing the march, Juzar Singh, president, Sath, stated Sikh political prisoners weren’t criminals neither they fought for his or her private points, they struggled for the frequent trigger. Sath member Gurwinder Singh, one other member of the organisation, stated the judicial system of this nation is smooth in direction of the rapists, murderers and convicted of massacres.
The march organised by the organisation was supported by the continuing Quomi Insaf Morcha. Pupil leaders of the United Sikh Pupil Federation and NSUI additionally participated within the march.
